Caught Red-Handed

You are looking at the evidence of a diseased mind.
I have red palms and fingers.

And a pink poodle who is pretty upset with me. Fortunately for his breed, he is clever enough to know how to get even. He immediately went and rubbed himself all over my living room suite, leaving behind a slight pink hue on the seats and backs of the couch and love seat. He stayed off his favourite chair until he was dry.

But, the jokes on him...ever since he ripped up the upholstery on both pieces of furniture, I don't have the same mad, furniture love for them that I once did. Since I now need slip covers, he can rub until the Genie appears for all I care. Nyah, Nyah Tikki.
We have our first ever Bed Bath and Beyond in Calgary now. So, I will set aside my shopping aversion and go get slipcovers. He didn't get a rise out of me...this time.

Tomorrow, I will post about the great present I got from my in-laws. The assembly has been done but I will take pictures of the set up for you.
Hint: I can grow "herbs" indoors year round now.

  1. Ohhhh, he looks so stinking cute! I can't wait to see him in person! He'll be thrilled as soon as his self esteem is restored by people stopping to adore him again...

Mom walks him through one of the city's busiest walking areas, and when he was pink EVERYONE stopped them to gush over how aborable he is and love him up. As soon as he was white (normal!) people no longer stopped them to comment on him, but Tiki was used to the attention and would stop when people walked past, waiting to be admired by passerby. When they didn't stop he was puzzled and offended. Vain little puppy!

The quotation marks around herbs make it sound like you're growing marijuana.

  2. Sheesh, what kind of in-laws (out-laws?) do you have who would give you something to grow marijuana?

Pink poodles and MJ - no wonder I come here for the giggles!

  3. Hello?
You promised a post about your new grow-op...

  4. Sorry ladies, and in Katie's case, I use the term loosely, I have been remiss on the posting again. I needed batteries for my camera and the Nameless Man bought rechargeables. Which is great except I had to wait for them to charge initially. Since we are kinda snowed in, maybe later today.

  5. Ha, you should have done red and green for Xmas!

    BODA weight loss

  6. Hey, little sparrow, where are you? I've missed you!
Just wanted to pop by and wish you a very Merry Christmas!
